Overview
Overview
Your heart has been beating since four weeks after you were conceived. Your breath began just after you were born. These miracles of life express an ongoing potential in each of us. Perhaps even more miraculous is that each of us was fluidly being from our very first moment. We all have that blueprint within us, even when various challenges and conditions in our lives have left us feeling less than fluid.
Continuum is a gentle mindful movement practice that enquires into our fluid nature and resurrects it through the use of breath, vocal sounding and movement. In these challenging times, it is too common to lose touch with our inherent fluidity, experiencing ourselves as frozen, tight, dense, rigid and often ruled by extreme emotions like fear or anger. In Continuum, we slow down and settle under our nervous system activations, returning to our natural open-heartedness, flowing breath, and fluid being.
