Overview
It is my belief that we carry in our cells, in our tissues, in the very throb of our existence an underlying flow that urges, inspires, flares our nostrils and beats our heart. This encompassing atmosphere of love has its own destiny — perhaps using humans as its messengers, this love has arrived on Earth.
– Emile Conrad
The flow of love beating our hearts is apparent in newborn babies and usually those around them. It is evidenced in the embryo’s huge heart that starts beating just 22 days after conception. The heart is a very central organ in the embryo and the first organ to come online. What does this tell us about being human?
In the embryo, the heart, like every structure, is fluid, growing and changing rapidly. This embryonic state represents our original potential and resilience. The gentle breaths, sounding, and mindful movement of Continuum support us in retrieving this embryonic fluid health, which is the focus of this 3-hour class.
